Spy Shots:Bentley Continental GTC Speed
First spy pictures of the Bentley Continental GTC Speed edition have made their way into our grubby paws. Although the GTC Speed looks similar to its coupe relative, some changes have been made, the most obvious one being that blue canvass top. Also, it comes with wider wheels than both GT and “normal” GTC, with more pronounced exhaust pipes too. A small rear spoiler will add to the list of differences in kit from Speed coupe.
Bentley has succeeded in making the fastest cabriolet in its 90-year history, one capable of peak runs past 320km/h (199mph) from its 6.0-litre W12 engine. With a 0 to 100km/h (62mph) sprint time of 4.5 seconds your toupee has never been blown off this quickly in a Bentley before. No surprises there since said W12 is a known maker of 600bhp (610PS/449kW) and 750Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. The GT Speed coupe was the first Bentley to break (320km/h) 200mph, therefore all the GTC Speed would be doing is following tradition. Good tradition too.
